“Why GSF and not PTA?”

The Gravenstein Schools Foundation (GSF) is a non-profit, tax-exempt, public benefit corporation designed to benefit the students and schools of the Gravenstein Union School District near Sebastopol, California. We are the successor to the Gravenstein PTA and Middle School Boosters organizations, which served Gravenstein schools for many years.  GSF has been serving the Gravenstein Unions School District for over ten years!

GSF supports district-wide programs that benefit both Traditional and Enrich! students.   All of the funds we raise go towards providing community events and supporting district-adopted programs or materials needs for every student that attends our campuses.

GSF proudly hosts the following community events:

  • Back-to-School Dinner & a Movie
  • Halloween Carnival
  • Bingo Nites
  • Skate Nights
  • 8th-grade Graduation Dinner

GSF proudly supports the following programs and material needs of the district:

  • Teacher Grants
  • Artist-in-the-Classroom
  • Music Program support
  • Field trips
  • Middle-school Spanish
  • Technology upgrades
  • Facility improvements
  • Special Assemblies
In addition, each year we like to show our appreciation to the staff and teachers of the Gravenstein Union School District by hosting a luncheon.  And we couldn’t do any of this without YOU, our GSF families!
